YSDK Chennai participated in the 40^th Chennai Book Fair held at St. George School, Kilpauk, from 6^th to 19^th January, 2017. The Chennai book fair is a wonderful outreach opportunity to interact with members of the public and introduce them to Guruji, the books he’s authored, his How-to-live teachings and Kriya Yoga.  Chennai Kendra has been participating in this book fair for over 15 years.

Around 2,400 people visited the stall to purchase publications; some inquired about Gurudeva and about the path of self-realization etc. Information about Guruji’s How-to-live teachings and Kriya Yoga were shared with interested persons. Nearly 90 persons applied for the Lessons. Swami Pavitrananda and Brahmachari Nirandananada visited the stall on January 15^th and 17^th respectively. Their words of guidance and encouragement were very helpful to all volunteers.

The stall was manned over 20 devotee-volunteers who assisted with preparatory works, packing and unpacking, stall preparation and display and manning of stall etc. We thank them for their tireless efforts in continuing to make this outreach activity a success.
